Checkin' In

Hey, guys. How've you all been doing?

I guess in my last journal I said I had a lot more to say, but... I don't really remember what any of that stuff is! Mostly just glad December is over, and I THINK things might be calming down so far as my stuff goes. I never really realized it but things can really get stressful with work and stuff. Might have to take a couple days off soonish, though the weekends are always nice. Anyway, I don't really think I have too much to say that hasn't already been said. Though, there has been some progress with the heartgear invy comic... in that I'm officially looking for someone else to finish it up (with her okay) and as usual there's probably a bunch of commissions I should be posting for everyone else to see.

Though, I'm kind of hesitant on that. I want to show them off, but I also still want to sort of develop my own art (despite not doing anything since September) and have people come more for that than for stuff other people did. I'm not really sure what to do about it (don't wanna make a second account for that even though it seems the best option) cause it's kind of a conflicting thing. I guess I should worry about drawing more before I worry about people not looking at my stuff, though! I swear I drew about half of a sketch the other night!

Something else that has come up is a "Commissions Guide" for both people giving and getting commissions. Some general dos and don'ts... but I feel like that would quickly devolve into "MysticalSkeleton's Biggest Complains about Commissioning" and I'm not sure if either would really be worth reading, haha. There's a common theme here, but I should just get on the ball and do SOMETHING. I do feel a little disconnected from everything, so I guess the main thing I should do is leave some comments and junk instead of just hanging out in Picarto streams making half-insults to some cool people.

Ah well, hopefully 2016 will have some cool stuff I can give to you guys!
