Caroline is a character from Metal Slug Attack. She's the mechanic for the Ptolemaic Army, and quite skilled at developing machines and robots for her friends and comrades. Hard at work as always (or at least what she considers to be her work,) she was putting the final touches on what she would present the next day- an autonomous robot that would seek, capture, and detain key targets from opposing factions. While it seemed to have trouble detecting targets previously, it just needed a couple changes and it should be working prefectly. "Finally," she thought to herself, "It's done! Better turn it on for one final test." Caro flipped the switch, and a large series of gears and sprockets began whirling and hissing with life. Caro looked over her monitoring system to see if it could locate the practice dummy.

"TARGET DETECTED."

Caro giggled with delight It looked like her hard work was finally commplete. Her automaton began rolling forward, right past the intended target and straight for Caroline. "Hmm?" She looked over at her monitor. "NEUTRALIZING." "That's not right," she sighed to herself. Looked like she wasn't finished quite yet. She reached for the shut down switch, but before she could reach it, her arms were suddenly pinned to her sides. "H-hey, wait a second!" she yelled. "Not me! Let go!" She was pleading futilely with her machine that did not have the capability to listen to her cries. It had already begun its work. Ropes spewed out of various compartments, wrapping around her chest and legs. Claws grabbed at her clothes and skin as she struggled to break free. "If I could just get loose for one second..." The machine had no intentions of letting her free. It secured her tightly, hoisted her up, and waited, ready for the command of someone to extract its prisoner. Caro still struggled, but the machine was equipped to keep prisoners in check. She could only wait

"I'll never hear the end of this one," she thought as she pouted.
